Go ahead, pick a card, any card, is what you might hear from Zak Ketcham (Edge), while holding a well fanned out deck. Okay, have you seen it? Have you memorized your card? Now, put it back into the deck, otherwise he might turn you into a Walking Dead fan as is he. Yes, he loves the Walking Dead along with a battery of Horror Movies. “Here’s Johnny”!

While not performing his card tricks or being scared out of his wits, he loves kickin' it with his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid and dunking it with his favorite basketball team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Other fun facts about Zak Ketcham include pinning down a Rubix Cube in 21 seconds, which is about 15 seconds shy of the world’s record. I don’t know about you, but I think it takes me longer to tie my sneakers. When he is not cubing, he is advancing his Green Belt skills in Goju-Ryu Karate, which is a traditional Okinawan style of Karate. The name Goju-Ryu means “hard-soft styles,” referring to the closed hand techniques and open hand techniques. A much-needed technique against Nefarious. Who is Nefarious? Well, you’ll have to come to the show and find out.

Lastly, he is a DC and Marvel Comics hero enthusiast. I wonder what are a few of his favorites? Do you dare to take a guess? No, I did not include the word “Dare” as a clue. The first person who can name his favorite from each side, meaning DC and Marvel, will win a prize. Don’t be shy, respond via email by clicking This email address is being protected from spambots. A special message from Edge.

I have to admit one of my favorite activities of producing a show is highlighting the cast because without them, there would not be a show. A written show, no matter how brilliantly composed, can stay on the shelf for ages if there is no one to carry it out. We look forward to seeing Zak Ketcham in the lead role of Edge in SUMMER ROCK a new musical
